The Frome Town Council has a wealth of information about holding a street party on their Organising a Community Event or Street Party website page - including road closures, insurance, risk assessment and funding. The page also includes information about how to borrow items from the town council, such as chairs, tables, gazebos and bunting.
Streetparty.org.uk has lots of ideas and free resources.
